Today, we began to try the brightness of the lamp. In addition, we try the brightness through different materials.
Different material, the luminosity will be different.

Try variety kinds of different Material.

The brightness of the light, with the Glass, or transparent through out the light is not strong, users need see out from the side light. (I feel that this is not a good ideal, but it can use in some way such as billboards would be better)

This translucence of the material, this type of materials suitable to join in my design.

It is because I can use this material to scatter light, it would not dazzling to eyes. In addition, this type of materials are many kinds of purposes.

I also try many kinds of materials, it allow me learn a lot knowledge about materials and brightness of the light.

Lamp (with different material and different bulb size, the effect of the brightness will be different).

Finally, I try this translucent of glass ornaments, the effect is very beautiful.

I chose this translucent material used into my lighting design.

I also search on the internet, I see light on the different acrylic. It will appear different rendering of light.

light diffusing acrylic

Endlighten is an acrylic sheet infused with colorless light diffusing particles. While regular acrylic only diffuses light around the edges, endlighten illuminates evenly across the entire surface. The images above show 1 sq foot of the material with a strip of RGB LEDs wrapped around it.

This material is available in a few different thicknesses and grades. The most relevant distinction between them has to do with the size of the final application. For example, for applications up to 24″ the L size will suffice, but applications over 51″ will require the XXL. The manufacturer also offers the material in two grades: regular and T. The T is specially formulated for LEDs and optimized for vertical viewing with a surface 250% brighter when viewed from the front.

Besides its light diffusing properties, endlighten has the same aspect and properties as regular clear acrylic: it can be laser cut, etched, etc.

Known applications for endlighten include interior decoration and multi-touch surfaces.
